02 / TECHNOLOGY
BDD stands for boron-doped diamond. Electrode reactions, circulation and online monitoring come together in an integrated equipment system.
When energized, the BDD anode interface generates hydroxyl radicals (·OH) and other reactive species that participate in the oxidation of microorganisms and organics.
Water passes through the reaction unit in a side stream to continuously treat the waterborne load. Withdrawal and return points are configured for the site.
Process signals inform operation. Culture tests, ATP trends and surface sampling help separately assess waterborne microorganisms and biofilm control.

Start with water-sample tests, then assess site operation. Keep comparable records for waterborne microorganisms, surface biofilms and cleaning resources.
Units: CFU/mL. Values reproduce test records presented in the current brochure. A recorded value of 0 does not mean absolute sterility. These water-sample results do not replace long-term operation and pipe-surface biofilm validation.
BDD side-stream oxidation combined with downstream filtration and separation supports pretreatment for iron, manganese and sulfides in groundwater.
Culture testing captures changes before and after treatment. Long-term operation and pipe-surface outcomes require further validation.
Pilot preparation for fermentation vessels and circulation lines to evaluate waterborne microorganisms, surface cleanliness and operating compatibility.
Each project is shown at its respective stage. Sample tests, engineering applications and pilot preparation represent different scopes of evidence.
05 / ABOUT MENTOR
MENTOR Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. focuses on microbial and biofilm control in industrial water systems. We advance the practical application of BDD through electrode integration, equipment engineering and site validation.
From water treatment to water resilience.
Assess culture-water and effluent applications separately, defining appropriate treatment boundaries and validation criteria.
Talk to us ↗Configure water quality improvement and ecological restoration around site loads and maintenance conditions.
Talk to us ↗The main approach is side-stream integration. Actual withdrawal and return points, piping, valves and interlocks are determined from site drawings and operating conditions.
The system complements existing pretreatment and cleaning procedures. Changes to cleaning cycles, chemical use and pre-membrane water quality should be determined through site validation.
Culture tests and ATP trends can help assess waterborne microorganisms. Surface biofilms require separate evaluation, such as surface sampling. Process signals including ORP support operational observation and do not replace microbiological testing.
